Where We Work
Laursen Roofing is based in Georgetown, and we serve homeowners across the Austin metro and Williamson County. If you’re in one of these areas, we’re your local roofer — not a crew passing through.
- Georgetown — home base. We’ve been roofing here since 2010. Founded in 1848 and named for George Washington Glasscock — and officially the Red Poppy Capital of Texas.
- Austin — yes, we come to Austin. It started life as Waterloo before being renamed Austin in 1839 for Stephen F. Austin, the “Father of Texas.”
- Leander — plenty of roofs under our belt here. Named for railroad man Leander “Catfish” Brown — and the nearby 10,000-year-old “Leanderthal Lady” is one of the oldest intact burials ever found in the U.S.
- Cedar Park — hail alley some years; we do a lot of storm repair here. It got its name in 1887 from a park full of mountain cedar trees — the Cluck family donated the land on condition part of it stay a park.
- Liberty Hill — growing fast, and we’re keeping up with it. First postmaster W.O. Spencer wanted to call it “Liberty” in 1853 — but the name was taken, so it became Liberty Hill.
- Round Rock — full service: replacement, repair, tune-ups, gutters. Named in 1854 for the big round rock in Brushy Creek that marked a low-water crossing on the Chisholm Trail.
- Pflugerville — same standard, no travel-charge games. Named for German immigrant Henry Pfluger — and its high school team once won 55 straight football games.
- Hutto — yes, we come to Hutto. Named for cattleman James Emory Hutto — and home of the Hippos: a circus hippo escaped here in 1915, and the high school has carried the mascot ever since.
